NIKE Thread - Page 681

I only ever wear them with the liner in, and they are really insulating. I find myself just wearing my LunarEpics every time I'm in a sporty fit. They are just too comfortable compared to anything else.

Yah LunarEpics are simply great, wouldn't call it the best running shoe out there but style-wise, it's one of Nikes best right now. And that sole, really wish the lows came with the extra insole but even that one is pretty damn comfortable too.

I think I should've sized down for sockdarts, they look nice but feel weird cuz the soles are thick and wide but the upper is a thin mesh.

I think the Sock Darts are sized like other Prestos too, no halfsies so many will have to size up or down.

The upper is surprisingly thin too, great for the summer but yah I think sizing down half if you're in between might work better.

I am not sure sizing down a full size is best though, your toe might stick out and forget to cut your toenails for a month and you might just cut through that mesh.

yea I'm just surprised they used such a thick/wide sole when the upper mesh is so thin, feels a little unbalanced. Not sure if I'm just imagining but the mesh seems thinner than the prestos'. Triple blacks look good though.

It's definitely way thinner, it's practically paper thin and the main upper support comes from that perforated rubber strap. Prestos are layered mesh and the tongue location is actually padded.

I know a lot of people weren't convinced on the white Mercs not lookin like a pair of tube socks, but I really like mine and they are now $129 on SoccerPro with the code SAVE10, the Royals are also the same price. I'm debating whether I should get the royals, I really like the colour itself but I feel like if get more use out of another pair of the all whites as a gym shoe.

Royals: http://www.soccerpro.com/Nike-Free-Flyknit-Mercurial-805554-400/

Whites: http://www.soccerpro.com/Nike-Free-Flyknit-Mercurial-805554-100/

(You have to add to cart to see the discount otherwise it shows $199 still)

Decent deal, might consider the all whites at that price.

Huh, thinking about getting a pair of Royals- how do they run?
I usually wear 8 1/2 on Nikes except for the Metcons which I went with size 9 because I wear thick wool socks with them

From what i've read, sizing could vary from colorway to colorway.

For reference i have two pairs, one tts and another half a size up. Both fits me well enough but I like the fit of tts better of the two.

Yeah I ordered another pair of whites for the gym ($108 shipped after loyalty points).

I went TTS (size 12) on all of mine and don't find any difference between them, for reference I have:

Black poor man HTM

Obsidian SP

Wolf Grey (suede heel)

All white

Savage Beauty

I'm very tempted by rift. Hope for your comment on the sizing.

Air Rifts are TTS for me, with or without tabi socks. The neoprene ones have some give to them. Free Rifts are tight at the toes when worn TTS without socks. Sizing up by 1 makes it loose at the heel and it doesn't come in half sizes. Insoles are softer on the Free Rifts.
