What do you guys think of Paul Ryan's outfit that he wore during his VP nomination on Saturday?

We just published an article on our blog titled "Paul Ryan - Fit to be Unfit" - clearly we did not like what he wore. satisfied.gif I am curious what you guys think. Maybe you guys got some more insight that should be added to the post...

Here is the post we just did:

Already discussed a fair amount here:

I think we can all agree that Paul Ryan is hardly unique among US politicians in looking like hell most of the time.

Well, there is at least one other thread addressing the details of his apparel, but I think he is trying to appeal to the majority of American citizens who do not wear expensive, well-tailored clothing; to that end he avoids looking flashy in any way.

On a completely different note, I appreciate your support of SF, as an affiliate, and respect your opinion; but I think it unwise to bring politics into business, as you risk needlessly alienating customers.  This type of article does not bother me, as I am a Canadian, but those are my two cents.

Thanks for the input. I want to ensure you that I/we were just focusing on his outfit. The blog post was not intended to give a political opinion, and was not intended to offend anyone's political view.

There was nothing political in the blog article.
the man needs a lesson on how to dress.
wearing proper fitting clothing is not a crime.
I wish i saved the Women's wear daily article. they gave Paul Ryan a grade of C. they also made fun of
his square toed shoes.

Waist to crotch is long. I hate that about my own pants.

That said, I'm okay with no ties and suits.

Maybe Romney's campaign will buy Ryan new clothes as McCain's campaign did for Palin.

Your comment implies he has been conscious, on some level, of how ill-fitting his clothes are. I don't think so - I think he just doesn't know or thinks they fit right.

Edited to add: I meant ill-fitting his suits are. I can't comment about this shirts.

Also, this thread is not political.

i don't see the issue with the shirt size?

imo, a lot of people on sf wear tight collars, anyway.
