Hey guys,

I am looking to have a suit made when I go to Asia and I am hoping to have something made that is exactly or very similar to the Tom Ford James Bond suit made famous by Daniel Craig in the past couple of Bond movies.

My question is, is there a pattern that I can provide to the tailor in order to ensure that the suit is what I am hoping to get? Or is this such a common request that they should have it?

Also, any suggestions on the fabric would be appreciated! Cheers

Yes, Tom Ford now licenses his Base A and B patterns. Ask your tailor, and he can make an exact copy.

Call TF and ask them to fax a copy of the pattern.

No, i think they can email the pattern but you need to ask them nicely, because they eat breakfast 300 yards from 4000 cubans who are trained to......

did you figure out how to request the patterns for the TF suits? I am looking for patterns myself and would be willing to pay for them.

I'll dive into this discussion:

If you want the exact same fabric, you have to go to a Tom Ford boutique; they'll have it.

If you're using your own tailor, you won't be able to get the same fabric; only something similar.

Tom Ford does not sell fabric separately.

Tom Ford does not sell "patterns". Even if you were to get a hold of it (???) chances are the suit pattern won't fit you since it's specifically tailored for Daniel Craig.

Fabric wise you can get something similar if you look around. Chances are your tailor in Bangkok won't have the exact same. You could research more regarding the fabric weight and fmill.

You can also point out to your tailor the details (shoulder, lapel width, 2/3 button, slanted hip pockets, tailored/skin tight, etc.) and tell him to make you a similar one.
