I was preparing for a trip when I realised my problem: when my trips are longer than 3-4 weeks, most of my shirts need to be universal and work as business formal, business casual or smart casual as required. Since I find it boring to use business formal shirts outside working hours, I wonder how to push smart casual shirts to business formal/business casual level. Perhaps solid colour shirts with small logos of “sport pedigree” brands such as Lacoste or Ralph Lauren Polo Sport, checked in thin lines or herringbone pattern could do the job – solid makes them formal, but logo or pattern suggests them as casual? The problem with Lacoste/Ralph Lauren is that they need adjustment and I like non-iron fabric, but they don’t make iron-free.
Then there is a gym – I usually do very intensive workouts, so I only use wicking shirts, normal 100% cotton shirts make me very uncomfortable. Could you suggest me lightweight and compact wicking gym short sleeved shirts?
Thanks
