Help needed! cleaning a cameraman jacket

Hi guys,

just found some grease stains (they are the result of being pressed for several months against a Barbour jacket) on the upper half of my Cabourn's cameraman jacket (that's the Mackintosh part)

They are not that big but I'd like to have them removed. What's the best way to do it? For the time being I simply tried with hot water and soap...didn't work.

cornstarch for a couple hours should lift some of the oil. then you might need to try alcohol or solvent cleaner, but these can also stain so test them first

thanks for the tip. I've also found this online: http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Grease-Stains

will probably try both methods on small areas and see which works best.

Dishwashing detergent + toothbrush always works for me. I was able to purge a 5+ year old grease stain from one of my shirts with this method.
