The Seahawks looked scary good last night. They could have hung 50 on the Niners, easily. Their front four is eye-poppingly fast. For someone who doesn't watch Seattle that much, it was pretty shocking.

I don't think either the Seahawks or the Niners will win a SB with a rookie QB. I think Wilson is a better bet going forward than Kaepernick, though.

Fucking Manning. He is sooooooooooo good. And he could have played for the 'Niners. They are flat out a better team than the Broncos (even with Manning) and if they had him running the offence with that D, that O-Line, Frank Gore. . . it would be dynasty time. If he can make the no-name scrub receivers in Denver into world beaters imagine what he could do with Vernon Davis, Crabtree, Moss, Manningham, ect.

Grrrrrr.

Grrrrrr.

I think Harbaugh will struggle to ever mesh with a top flight QB such as Manning because he won't be able to give up the necessary control. All of the top passing QBs in the league largely run their own offenses and consult with their head coaches without necessarily differing to them. Kaepernick and Alex Smith probably won't win you a Superbowl but they won't fight you for control either.

That stuff happens all the time in those rankings. They don't usually weight individual head to heads all that much.

Also, anybody that predicted the Colts, Seahawks, and Redskins would be top 10 in rankings near the end of the season deserves some kind of medal.

Right, I am willing to admit that a head to head matchup, especially earlier in the season, should not be determinative with regards to relative rankings, but when a team gets completely outclassed one day before the most current rankings it seems silly to have the loser ranked higher.

But GB is no 1. Which will be determined shortly.

I have to say that I did think the refs were on Seattle's side last night. Thought the first, retired NFL refs have said that they normally reward the more aggressive team, it just sort of works out that way. Thought the second, the NFL was giving GB back a game.
After the fail mary I lean more towards the 2nd and that the NFL is devolving into the NBA. WIll be glad to be quit of it next year.

I won by the same margin.

The Broncos will not win the SB for 2 reasons- Peyton and Manning.

If you watch the commentary they make this point - "what do you have to do to get ahead of the 49ers other than beat them by 30 and knock out Davis and Manningham?" They're clearly the better team right now.

They cheat as well. Both corners caught. Fuck Pete Carroll. Fuck the refs and Golden Tate and all the rest.
