The Official NFL Thread: 2012-13 Season - Page 52

How about the expansion of Thursday night football and the possible expansion of the playoffs? There's a reason player injuries are up and its not just rampant steroid use.

NINERSSSS!!!!

This is super late as I was with a client but such a sick win on the road. Especially since no team has beat New England in December at home in 11 years I think the stat was. Pretty fucking remarkable

The TNF games couldn't be any worse since a large portion of those TNF games have been unwatchable with terrible teams. Not every team should be on prime time.

The poor TNF matchups were somewhat intentional. You can't ask for the big tv rights and then take away the big tv markets week after week. Within the orgs too, there is a very real sense of being left out if they don't have a primetime/national tv game.

I can understand the first part but do we really need to see the Jaguars, Bills, Chargers, or Chiefs on primetime/national TV. Jacksonville fans don't even want to see their own team because they're so terrible. Should the rest of the country have to suffer also?

This is an awful MNF game. Neither team looks good.

That was an ugly football game. The Titans couldn't even give it away.

"That's the way the game should end. That's the way the Jets season should end."

And now he's a third stringer.

The owners like to see their team on national TV. The schedulers work for the owners . . .

Careful fella's, that's The Sanchize you're talking about!

Other side of this is how they skipped Tebow to go right to McElroy. If they're not going to put Tebow out there after they've been eliminated from the playoffs, either his injury is worse than we knew or they just have zero confidence that he'll ever be a useful QB.

I'll take what's behind door # 2.

Which is too bad, they should give him two games to see if somehow he can repeat his Jesus Magic as a starter.

Worst NFL starting quarterback: Sanchez, Ponder, or whoever is starting in Arizona? After seeing Sanchez's fourth interception in the MNF game, I'm going with him. Throwing a ball into triple coverage off your back foot may be the worst pass this season.
