agreed. wheedon could barely get the ones they've already got significant screen time.

I was kidding about tossing in all those characters for the 2nd film, but Whedon did a great job balancing screen time for the characters he had. I have faith that he could do the same with a few more tossed into the mix. He could always tone down the roll of less important characters like Hawkeye and Black Widow to make room if he had to.

ScarJo is reportedly getting paid $20mil for A2, I highly doubt she gets less screen time in the sequel.

Yeah I heard about that. Hopefully it doesn't become a trend because if all the actors start demanding paydays that big you know Marvel will start recasting the characters. I'd like to see them make a few more films before that happens.

Who gives a shit about Hawkeye or Black Widow? Snore.

I don't care for their characters and it's a joke scar is getting paid $20m for avengers 2.

Forgot about those 2. I still think Wasp, regardless of her Marvel/Avengers status, shouldn't be in the sequel.

Where could the sequel take place (against Thanos)? Earth/NYC again?

I bet renner's going to demand more character development and screentime for a2

It's an actual set, they are on location. If anything, they might make it darker like they are fighting at dawn or something.

Viggo Mortensen Will Not Be Doctor Strange

Another healthy rumor that has been making the rounds online is both that Dr. Strange will appear in the upcoming Marvel Studios sequel Thor: The Dark World and that actor Viggo Mortensen will be playing the Sorcerer Supreme. In an interview with Omelete (via Collider), Marvel producer Victoria Alonso shot down the rumor pretty quickly.

"We would love to work with Viggo Mortensen. I've been trying that for years. But I don't know if Viggo is even acting anymore. I thought he wasn’t acting anymore. It would be great to work with him in the future, but we don’t have him signed, no."

He is still acting, but now that the rumor has been put to rest you might start hearing people say that it's simply misdirection on Marvel Studios' part, although that seems rather unlikely now.

Last we heard about a Dr. Strange film, the script had been completed by writers Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (Conan the Barbarian, Sahara) with Marvel Studios actively seeking out a director for the project.
