Come on Fritzl will there ever be a day when you either don't bite or sense the humour ??? There really isn't any need for this is there?

Let me clarify, as you seem to be taking this far more seriously than it was given, i asked the question rather than make a categorical statement "isn't this the classic loafer shape?" so it wasnt an opinion it was a question. I also need to clarify that i meant the classic "English" (maybe American) loafer shape !!

FFS looks like i'm biting now facepalm.gif

this is fair. misunderstandings can happen on a internet board. nvm.

i'm just tired of certain accusations, that's all.

i have a lot of humour. no worries. don't get carried away right now. better carry on...

if the typical american aesthetics is like that, so be it. i have alternatives. anyway.

Would penny loafers go with pants like these?

I'm broke and need a new pair of shoes that would go with shorts, jeans and dress pants.

Yes, penny loafers work with gray trousers. I have misgivings about gray cotton, though. I would worry about them fading in the wash, which isn't a concern for me with gray wool or wool/poly pants, or with tan cotton chinos, which look fine with some wear on them. Of course, you didn't ask about that, and it may just be me.
