He must be some kind of rad guy.

My mom used to do this with our school uniforms. As little kids, we would throw our clothes into disorganized piles when changing for PE, and this helped us (or her) identify our stuff.

I'm not a big fan of monograms, certainly not ones for show. The only configuration I like is a single letter at the bottom of the shirt placket, ideally in the same color as the shirt. Got the idea from an old Hathaway shirt, although those were always in red, afaik.

Speaking of, RAD would be a pretty good monogram.

My grandfather's initials are "T-N-T". Always thought that was awesome.

My initials are DIL.

part of why i never got anything monogrammed was that i have 4 initials. and i felt 4 was to many, but i didnt want to leave any out either.

Gents, I need some advice, and didn't think it worth it's own thread.

I am going to be making a tie order with Sam Hober, three or four ties.

Here are the ties I currently wear often; burgundy grenadine, chocolate brown grenadine, blue cashmere, navy knit, green madder paisley madder, a solid blue from hickey freeman, and blue with white dots.

Here is what I was thinking of ordering; navy grenadine, Forest Green Grenadine, Green macclesfield patterned Wool, burgundy Madder, and a charcoal gray solid wool.

Thoughts? I am looking to have a decent variety, but I find myself reaching for the solids much more than any pattern or stripe I currently own, except the green madder.

^ very entertaining; he certainly remains a larger-than-life character! I enjoyed his reflection that even his eccentric life can't quite incorporate the ridiculousness of paying for bespoke Charvet boxers...

was called 'herringbone'. When I asked her a couple of days ago
whether she had remembered the name, she answered "goose bumps!?"
