That's it! Andrew! Should have known you'd have the answer. Just did a cursory search and the thread (Neo Nouveau: Luxury Leather Goods by Andrew Diba - Official Affiliate Thread) has indeed been deleted.

Thanks a ton, D. You wouldn't happen to know anything about the products would you? I remember the thread having very positive reviews...

I don't really know anything about the company, but @unbelragazzo has a briefcase from him.

Found an old photo of Andrew Ramroop, looking like a total bad ass.

Cross-posting from Q/A thread:

I had some (expensive) suits come back from a reputable dry cleaner smelling densely of chemicals, and after hanging them for weeks with intermittent wear, then still smell and it gives me headaches. What went wrong, and how do I solve this?

Sounds like they overdid it on the perc (chemicals).  I don't know if there is anything you can do at this point, but I would definitely talk to the cleaners about it....I doubt I would go back there.

Well I'm definitely not going back.

And I'd hate to think that these things are ruined forever. Would another dry or wet cleaner be able to wash the smell out?

Anyone have a line on some nice flat front corduroys?

Trying to replace some favorite pants that are no more. They were some Lands End Canvas cords from a while back. Relatively slim fit on me (but I have bigger legs), smaller wale, light brown color.

Trouser pockets (not 5-pocket jean style) but not too formal of cut.

I like the Brooks Brothers ones. Corporate sale (30% off) ends today. I have them in the 8 wale though, but think they do 14 wale versions too.

First thing to do is try leaving it hanging in a room with open windows (or even outside if weather permits) and a fan running for a day or two. Perc (tetrachloroethylene) is volatile–which is also why it smells so bad–and should eventually all evaporate.

If they really went nuts with the chemicals, the smell may still be there, but I don't see that you have much to lose by trying.

Watched The House on Telegraph Hill last night. Made in '51 but meant to take place right after WWII. Great examples of 3-piece single breasted suits.

Kind of random, but I've been wanting to get into bird watching and apparently there's a line of country clothes targeted towards bird watchers. Aside from the logo on the chest, stuff looks pretty good, actually.
