Once, long ago. I should revisit it as I haven't had it recently. I do remember a dry heat on the shish kaboby thing that I got, over some delicious rice.

I don't know what it's called, but there is this meal of very light moist flatbread that comes layered in a steamer with an array of colorful dipping options - it's eaten with your heands and it's messy as hell, but it's amazing.

Edit - my mistake, it's actually an Eritrean dish.
May not look good to some, but tastes amazing. (Click to show)

Not to change the subject away from various international cuisines, but I have a question.

Out shopping today, as the fall clothes are starting to show up, I spied a very nice sport coat by Polo (Blue label)

If was a great fit, but I was hesitant because I couldn't picture what I could wear with it. I didn't get a pic, but I'll give my best description. It is a very country tweedy looking fabric in a dark hunter green, mostly solid, with texture, but no pattern.

Would a dark green sport coat go with various shades of gray? I mostly wear gray flannel in the fall winter. Any other color combinations that would work well? Any shirt tie suggestions?

Ok, now back to talk of food...tonight the wife made homemade tortas, Mexican sandwiches with a mixture of chorizo and black beans topped with avocado slices, queso fresco and salsa, muy bueno.

Definitely with a nice lighter grey flannel in the fall, that sounds perfect actually.

^ Yes, grey is the great equalizer for primary colors (red, green, etc.).

Hpreston, sounds like something that would look good with jeans (dark not dad) if you're into that aort of look. Also think it would look good with the right shade of slim chinos (i.e. a warmer shade, not ice)

I just watched an interview with Patrick Grant for PUTTHISON in which he is wearing a dark olive flannel SC and black pants, and the combination works very well. But maybe anything made on SR looks good in any combination. hard to tell.
