Lots of great stuff on the last page. Also agree that the reversible coat is awesome. Got a red floral in small. Anybody want to exchange their blue floral for mine biggrin.gif?

I have the blue in size small. While I love the subtlety of the jacquard pattern on the current season's reversible coat, the F-U pattern on the red one is amazing!

Would anyone be willing to proxy an EG item for me from the States to the UK ?

What is your guys' opinion of the fit of the Andover jacket in general? This is my first foray into EG, with the navy chino twill (I'm assuming it's from FW15). I've browsed through many of the photos and it seems that most people here prefer the Bedford. I was drawn to this one because the notch lapel and I liked how the flapped chest pocket made it look less like a blazer and more as a casual midweight jacket.  I'm usually 42R in most OTR items and this in XL fits nice but snug on me, and even with some arm ROM restriction.

^Looks great! I have 2 Bedfords (1 SS, 1 FW) and love them for the peak lapels, removable (and swappable) buttons, and the versatility of the design features. With that said, I've wanted an Andover for a while, and I like the slimmer fit and qualities you mentioned in your post. They're both designs that can be encorporated into some really interesting (or more subtle) outfits.

So I got some BDU pants, loved them, loved the fit of them, wasn't too tight, tapered well, and then this happened on my second wear of them, lol...Didn't even rip at the seams. Not sure what to think or do about this.

That is really bizarre, I'd definitely email Nepenthes or something about it. Maybe they can do something about it, but I've got some EG stuff going on years of hard wear.

Yeah, it's very strange to me because I was just getting into my car when it happened, and I have other chinos and pants that are actually tight on my thighs that have held up for years of wear, as compared to these BDU which were plenty loose enough and it was only my second wear.

i am going to guess they were too tight and you were fooling yourself or wearing them too low which can cause a rip

I wish I had taken a pic before it happened, but I took this after just to show they weren't too tight. They definitely were not too tight. I have pants way tighter.
