Paraboot

Love this easy attempt on the outfit and the inclusion of the Paraboot Michael. The Michael was my first shoe from them, purchased in 1985 and I'm still wearing them.
As a side note, Drinkwater's is the Paraboot Authorized Repair Service in North America. We also supply Paraboot Beeswax polish and Paraboot laces.

A little off topic but A few Daiki quotes in this book I picked up

Ametora: How Japan Saved American Style

http://www.amazon.com/Ametora-Japan-Saved-American-Style/dp/0465059732/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1452012215&sr=1-1&keywords=ametora+how+japan+saved+american+style

My only peeve so far is that the pictures are in black & white, but that probably keeps the price down.

Worth getting if you're into such stuff.

A copy arrived through my letterbox last night - only had a quick flick through but it looks like it will be a decent read.

Finished it this past weekend, really enjoyed it.

finished just before the holiday - loved it. neat to have all the relationships and provenances of the brands we know and love explained in an engaging manner. well worth the time.

Got that as a Christmas gift and really excited to start it.

looking good @ericleavitt - only constructive critique would be the color of the belt. i know it's lame "fashion rule" but i do think there's something to it: your leather should match as closely as possible in color, so shoes, belt, watch band should all be in keeping...take it or leave it, but looking good none the less!

The only leather item besides that, that I'm wearing is Black Waxed leather. I know I probably need a black leather belt, but does that mean that I cant wear a Natural leather belt with Brown leather boots and raw denim? @blue peter

It doesn't jibe well with everything else. I think a dark belt no matter the color would look much better. The rest of the outfit looks solid.

indeed, it was the dark black boots + raw belt that jarred me. the watch band is the easiest to get away with, but such a loud color belt set against dark colors is too much imho. I echo @agvs when he says a darker belt brown, pref black, would be more visually cohesive.

Which jacket should be my next purchase? I currently have a FW15 Navy Moleskin Bedford, a FW15 Olive Bull Denim Highland Parka, and a FW11 Cruiser Jacket in green wool. Do I need another jacket, or should I focus more on shirts (i'm lacking)?
