That's "historically" how the EG threads have been. There's usually one item every season that people go nuts over and for the past two FWs it has been the shawl. All it takes is one person to post a good photo with the item and sooner or later it is sold out everywhere.

At first, i did not understand the shawl either, but I really like them now. They are very versatile and one can always wear it as a very warm scarf. I just purchased the blue/black stripe shawl from this season.

I agree with the above, and it seems like it's become a lot easier to find the shawls recently - a lot more stockists, and more on the second-hand market.

I think that's true of all brands - one good photo increases interest of anything on Styleforum.

Definitely more stockists of shawls this year, and shawls have been very popular in womenswear for the last couple of years so they probably look less 'out of the norm' than they did a few years back.

It helps, too, that's it's a (relatively) low cost, potentially forward/risky type of item, but with a fallback proposition. If you get one and feel like you look silly wearing it as a poncho or skirt, you still have a nice EG scarf. If you buy a bush shirt or fisherman's pants and they don't work for you, no such possibility.

I didn't realize it was you who bought that from me, @el Bert. If it doesn't work out, just ship it back to me and you'll get a full refund. I'll send it out tomorrow morning.

It's an extremely old piece. I can't pinpoint which season it's from but the fabric is crazy.

I mean the bike jacket is same p2p and it fits comfortably with a tee or thin knit. I'm not too worried but we'll see. If it doesn't fit I know a couple ppl interested already.

Anyone know how the huntsman pant from FW14 fit? They're pretty slim, right?
