I got the 10oz Bull Denim Type 6 Jean in black and the E1 hourglass quilted pants in blue which is a new piece for the mainline. Pretty cool. I can post some pics if anyone is interested in the fit.

Nothing too exciting, bought the navy twill work shirt. Almost pulled the trigger on a number of other items, but while I think this season has been solid, I think I will wait for bigger sales to really dive in.

I feel the same, I don't think I have anything from this season yet, despite liking a lot of it. Would like a shop coat, some black trousers and a shirt or two but like Cotton Dockers, I want to wait for some heavier reductions.

Is EG too expensive?

that's a tough one - expense is very subjective...

Just raising the point because a few people (including myself) are reluctant to buy at full price. That must mean we find it's too expensive. I do buy other items at full price.

Does that jacket really need to be triple of the Laboureur jacket it was inspired by?

I think the aesthetics and quality is there, but I just don't have the funds to buy limitless items. I like this season, and I'm happy Daiki tried out this direction, but there weren't that many "must have" pieces for me this F/W.

Lots of solid pieces, really good basics that could be rolled into most EG-centric wardrobes, but those are the pieces that each year seem to make it to sale, so if I'm not enthralled by something I'm willing to risk waiting to see if the price comes down a bit. If I miss out its on me and I can buy something (hopefully) somewhat similar at a lower price point (blue de paname, universal works, Le laboureur, StanRay, etc.) or else wait until next year and try again.

I would not suggest that Engineered Garments (or any other like brand) is TOO expensive. It is a commodity that is a need in a clothed world. As @blue peter suggested, subjective and I will say attainable to those who have not trounced on the notion that nothing should be attained at full price. To some, it's a game to win over the maker/provider but surely there is little regard for their craft.

You've got me regretting not picking up the bush shirt in Bodega's sale - looks great.

This coat is officially for sale if anyone is interested. I just found the navy canvas/charcoal herringbone version of it on rak.

Wow - Those are pieces that I thought would not go together and ... it's stellar. Also shows what a good season FW14 and FW13 was ...
