I did it myself. I've heard of people having it done for about $15-25 I think - you could call an alterations place. Basically you just sew a long, mostly straight seam on the inseam a little further in, rip the old one out, and press it. You don't usually need to cut off the excess, but even that isn't much work. Sometimes it requires redoing the hem, if you go down that far. It's really not very involved.
