H! To tuck or not to tuck. Not all outfits require that you tuck your shirt in but there are those times when you don't, you look slovenly, If you pay attention to how Daiki dresses, he often times is tucked.
My thoughts on this subject have brought me to consider tucking more often that not because the way in which it is done and the shirts that it is being done with wants me to separate from that crowd. Additionally, the details in most of trousers in the top block are to interesting to cover up, plus I have nice belts too!
Knight, you pulled this outfit off quite nicely if you ask me. Thanks for getting this thread ignited again.

Thank you Gary for the kind words. I appreciate all kinds of feedback. To your point Gary I did turn to daiki for inspiration. I wore that look to an event where everyone more or less wore a cheap suit. That's not how I roll. I tucked the shirt in because the E1 pants have stunning closure details across the waist. They also have drawstrings inside ie no need for a belt too. The tie balanced everything IMO

To fycus' point I wanted to own adventurous shoes and daiki wears Birkenstocks all the time. There's a web article showing what he wears mon-sun 4 of those looks had Birkenstocks 1 he was wearing UGGs. The shoes I'm wearing are from Trippen -- also of German origin like Birkenstock.

C'mon guys lets fill this thread with more inspiration and fun!

ill go again. I had this taken today. Winter is well and truly here in Sydney and my lust for boxy fits and unflattering cuts (particularly jackets) is growing. The deck jacket from fw12 is slowly becoming my absolute favourite jacket and the great thing about EG is you figure out new and interesting ways to wear your gear. I had 4 people ask where i got the deck jacket from today... kudos to daiki. Here's what I wore today.

- deck jacket navy nyco ripstop
- Essex pant grey charcoal stripe wool jersey
- hooded dickie grey wool jersey
- work shirt blue chambray
- knit tie navy/charcoal argyle knit

All from FW12.

not really feeling the outfit or the sneakers. Too much formal + casual? Those mismatch sneakers are really dope in theory, but I think they are just short of impossible to pull off and look good.

Those pants are really interesting; not sure how I feel about them, though. I think I like 'em 'till the lower leg, where things start to go funky. They could stand to be hemmed and/or slightly tapered, IMO.

Definitely like the top block.

Engineers jacket I picked up at MAC in SF last year. One of my favorites... Of the 5 or so EG jackets I have, that one definitely gets the most wear.
