i can see how some kind of canvas shoe like basic vans works, but if not a low profile sneaker what else can I wear? And yea I'm on the taller side (6ft)

Keep in mind that there's no right out wrong answer here: in my opinion if you're on the taller and lankier side and trying to pull off loose fitting pants, either let the cuff all the way down to the shoes or cuff them even higher to show more of the ankles. And with outfit that colorful and wild, surely you can do better with more substance than just a plain white sneakers. Maybe I'm just a bitter old hater, but I always find shoes with or similar than CP's silhouette to look more pleasing in canvas than leather. They look more like stuff you'd find from a Louis Vuitton or Prada store especially with those gold numbers on the sides. There's nothing wrong with using other brands to compliment EG, I just don't think CP does it, personally. A lot of other low profile stuff would work better, if you want to go with a beater sneaker kinda look, vans, chucks, purcells, flip flops. If you're into vintage sneakers, asics and nb all would be better.

that accordion fit is fine but I'd personally wear it with some birkenkloggs

I don't see how those CP look much different from the white Chucks Cotton Dockers is wearing on the same page. Cotton Dockers did pinroll his fatigues, but aside from that I just don't see how they would look better or worse than what Accordion chose.

However, I agree with CSA birkenkloggs would be best – because when aren't they?

Sure slip ons could work, but CP's are fine there. YMMV.

I think if Accordion don't flipped the lapel & laced the CP nicely, it'll look better.

So I guess we do agree and disagree lol as I love my Birks also, just works so well with all kinds of pants and shorts. Like I started before it's not the shape of CP that I don't like, it's the combination of white and leather that I find them not my cup of tea. You brought up a very good point, chucks and purcells don't look much different than CPs... overpriced and looks like something from LV or Prada store. YMMV, he posted his pic to get others opinion, and I gave mine.

I'm not really a fan of the shoes that your wearing in your fit either. The perfectly rolled sleeves too is also a little too clean in my opinion for an E.G. outfit. I personally think it looks better when it has a more relaxed appearance (e.g. sloppily rolled sleeves, wrinkled, ya know, the good stuff).

you cant go wrong pairing b-kloggs with eg....

trying to squeeze one last boot fit before humidity gets here (camera skills suck though)

This discussion is the exact reason I sold all of my CPs. I'm a huge EG fan at this point and felt CPs never really enhanced my fits. $40 chucks or vans look better and are way cheaper. I do think if accordion laced them differently that they would look better but still the CP slim silhouette only looks good with slimmer chinos. Regardless nice fit accordion. I love that bird and tree shirt.

Canstyleace nice fit! Are the boots trickers?

It's definitely shorts weather... Here's a throwback Camp shirt from S/S 08:

Hoping to briefly (selfishly) de-rail this thread:

I'm looking for a pair of blue jeans that goes with the whole EG thing. I saw Workadays, but I'm afriad those will be a little too big. Open to pretty much anything. Especially wondering if anyone has any recommendations of Rakuten.

I just got a pair of workadays about a month ago and they are pretty slim... I think you'd be pleasantly surprised with the fit if you want something more trim. I bought them with the plan they'd fit big, especially in the hem - but they are pretty skinny but work well.
