First bespoke suit in Malaysia

Hi everyone. I'm from Malaysia and this is my bespoke suit in progress. It is a DB 6on2, full canvas. Feel free to comment :)

Is it me or does that suit look ill fitting, especially the arms and back?  I hope the finished product is to your liking.

Make sure you address the problem of sleeve pitch to the tailor. The back looks fine to me

I've told the tailor today regarding the sleeve pitch. Today I went for my 3rd fitting. slight padding will be added to my right shoulder to compensate the drop. The sleeve has been adjusted smaller but will be widen back on the elbow area. Thanks a lot for the comments so far. Hope to receive more as I really want to get it right :).

IMO it seem a bit short. You may want to consider posting this in the tailor thread to get more technical feedback.

I think it looks good. The perceived shortness is due to his baggy pants I think. The back needs to be cleaned up a lot, but I presumer he'll do this eventually. Cheers.

This needs some work. The fronts don't overlap enough and the front edge should be perpendicular to the floor and the two front edges should be parallel to each other. From the front view I would make the jacket 3/4" (2 cm) longer, lower the button position 3/4". Make the lapels 1/2" wider. Back looks sloppy. Too much cloth across the blades and back and the jacket hangs up on your hips. It's still early enough, these things can be adjusted. I don't think they are used to making jackets like this.

I agree with the length issue as it rests on my wrist rather than my thumb. But I have a previous longer suit and it looks awful, is it due to the cut of the old suit?

The tailor is going to take the shoulder in a bit, will the solved the sloppiness of the back?

The length looks fine, I think the older suit has a bad cut, plus the top button will be better to leave open.

The front of the coat looks wrong, it is not overlapped enough. Your right shoulder is too tight with the dimple on the shoulder end.

You are very slim aren't you? Your tailor got the proportion quiet wrong in my opinion, don't worry as you are still young just compensate and perfect it next time.

I am really sorry, except the fitting, I am also not a fan of the trouser and shoes.

Went to the tailor today and he marked out a few areas to be adjusted. The sleeve pitch will be adjusted, the lapel will be widen by 2'', length increased until knuckle of my thumb, collar will be adjusted up, crucially the back will be taken in, sleeve will be shorten slightly and the front will be lifted in order for the front edge to be straight. Will post more picture in my coming (possibly last) fitting. As for the lack of overlap issue, I measured the overlap cloth and is actually 17cm. Is that enough?
