Me with my aunt last week prior to the rehearsal dinner for my wedding ...

MTM Nicholas Joseph grey glen plaid suit
Hugo Boss Shirt
TieBar tie, clip and square
Suit Supply double monks

MTM Nicholas Joseph dark navy shadow plaid suit w Tab collar
Hugo Boss shirt
Tiebar tie
Tiffanys Clip
Turquoise square made from bandana
Bally double monks
And yes the tie knot is horrible, some of the tiebar's ties are great and others not so much, this one doesnt hold a knot well... Also the chest puckering is from my arm up, IRL with arms down it looks fine

Hugo Boss sport coat
Levi 513 jeans
Tiebar square
AE Strands
And I forget the socks, maybe happy feet or something from Nordstrom

Sorry for the weird stance/pics, and between my old cracked 3GS and bad lighting, fit is hard to critique, I'm a 45-46R around 215 so anything too tight tends to make me look like a sausage, now that this thread is running I'll be sure to post more for your feedback regarding said sausage fitting.

This thread is a complete and total success if for no other reason than it has inspired barims to start posting regularly again. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

^ Thank you, but the truth is, I bought a new camera and started drinking regularly again in the last two months. Result: WAYWRN posts

In fact, I went for drinks with formerly prolific StyleForvmite Cravate_Noire whilst wearing the first outfit. The suit was made during - when else? - the 1960s - 1970s Peacock Revolution

Was he wearing one of his "signature" pirate-puff sleeve head shirts? I really want to see what those look like in person.

^ As much as I teased him about them, I freely admit that the effect is less pronounced in person, at least until he moves his arms

Of course, I'm the guy with the flamboyant "rockstar-sleeved "1960s shirts that I'm too lazy to take to my seamstress, so to me, it's all relative. Lucky that my jackets hide my buccaneer arms, I know

Too right. I did try to tell people this earlier but more than a few people just seem to think 'peacock' means bad combinations worn badly.
