Yesterday at Pitti ... with quite a lot of colors I wear .... but I like ... I choose everything according to my instincts ... and everything is made in bespoke Pirozzi. Obviously vintage tie and pocket square me-I have made. Then made in Passaggio Cravatte

Are you wearing a button down-collar with a bow tie? It certainly isn't a winged, or cut-back collar, is it a bow tie shirt? If this is an evening shirt it highly unusual one (can't see any other front buttons).

Are you wearing Chinos and braces (suspenders)?

Chinos and a bow tie? A smoking/evening jacket with a waist coat in the midday sun?

A DJ/ evening suit is the last formal dress code, I prefer to keep it that way.

As a general point, people have been doing this for a very long time, you know. It's part of the 'Ivy' look (and this is not to endorse the outfit as a whole, because it's basically a mess).

I quite often do it, but only with casual bow ties in printed silk (paisley or neat print patterns) or textured weaves like a herringbone wool.

I agree that the above look is rather a mess - too many competing elements that jar with each other instead of combining well.

Gentlemen,

I read a few of the posts in this thread and would like to invite you to enter a free contest on my website.

http://www.clothpersona.com/#!get-featured/c1b71

I'm very interested in learning about men's style as it goes across cultures, whether it be across nations or across a city. I do not receive any money from anyone to do this, I'm just very curious. Small prizes are currently given out by a randomized computer and your name will be entered upon filling out the questionnaire and providing a picture. You do not have to give your real name if you prefer not to. Your information will not be sold and I will not email you other than to say thank you or to notify you of your free prize.

Here's a short list of some of the prizes:

- Luca Roda Ties
- Gitman Bros. Ties
- Duke of Windsor Sotheby's Catalog (2 volume set)
- One of a kind pocket squares made from vintage fabric with hand rolled edges
- Saphir shoe products

Thank you for your time.
