Well, keep in mind, I find it aesthetically unacceptable--not simply wrong due to custom, rule, societal norm, etc. So, in my judgment, the answer is never.

Let's keep this discussion classy.

This may be true a lot of the time, but not always. It seems quite a few members have changed course stylistically, both for better and worse, through discussion here.

Could we please stop using the word "fit?" This is a pretty highbrow/cerebral discussion of tailored clothing, not an SW&D tumblr.

I am not a fan boy of the forum prescribed CBD, but I do think your outfit looks ridiculous. The reasons why have been covered ad nauseum in this 7 page thread. Bottom line, it is not aesthetically pleasing, period. You can talk about how much of an alpha dog you are and how the bitches want to fuck you, but that has no bearing on the awful outfit you posted. I can get laid in track pants, does that mean track pants are the pinacle of style?

I'll play along and open myself to over analysis. That was the point of this thread, right? This is awful picture quality, but this is how I wear colors similar to what NORE presented in the OP, but in a more "SF-approved" manner. I'm not commenting on what's better or worse. I just thought I'd put this out there to compare and contrast.



Lighter than navy linen blazer, eggshell blue pencil stripe shirt, lime green shantung tie, cotton/linen square with lavender border. I would wear this for a casual spring/summer event.
