Haha, yeah... I was in London a couple of weeks ago, and I picked up a couple of budget shirts while I was there. You could not try on the actual shirts that you bought, so I tried a test shirt (with a jacket) and it fitted fine. When I got home from London though, I realized that the 8 shirts that I bought (and that I showed to the staff who gave me the "right" test shirt) have a different collar than the shirt that I tried on. So now I have 8 shirts with too small collars. So that sucks... But I will just have to be ashamed of myself until I can afford and justify new shirts.

looks pretty, very wide lapels though.

Yeah, for some reason I thought that's what I asked for (though I agree they are huge and was planning to reduce them for future commissions), so I didn't complain. But after so many people telling me the lapels were massive, I measured them and they are actually 11 cm - I had asked for 10. Quite upset when I found out.

sucks when people dont do what you paid them to do. frown.gif

certainly not horrible, but not cool that its not what you asked for.

Yeah, I'm not mad at my tailor though, because he filled out the MTM form correctly - it reads 10cm. We're both rather upset at the factory guys. The jacket also came with sleeve openings 1.5 cm wider than I asked for, though I caught that one and it was fixed.

I'm not sure how you measure them but those look more like 12 or 13cm. Just based off that picture, I would suggest 9-9.5cm lapels for you.
