I like everything but the square.

(Though maybe not quite enough contrast between shirt / tie.)

If the PS is going to be off on it's own colorwise, I figure it might as well be white linen.

Cantabrigian,

Thank you for the comments. For the square, the creaminess of the Victory approximates , one of the "flowers" on the tie.

This pocket square looks rather indistinct against the jacket's pattern. I liked the Victory square in the last outfit.

Thanks Stich, and others who have commented

Unfortunately this thread seems to have died, so I leave it with one last fit.

The brief renaissance of this thread probably taught me more about putting together a good fit than anything else. The arguments, topics, and advice really helped. Although it's unfortunate it didn't last longer since I have a lot more to learn.

Yeah, this thread was great. I learned a lot just by going back and reading some of the older posts.

Hopefully another instructional thread will come along in due time.

Take heart, gentlemen. The cycle I've seen is that StyFo MC activity in general starts dying down as the weather gets warmer and fewer wear suits. I'm sure things will pick back up as the summer winds down. Perhaps our Antipodean and other Southern Hemisphere friends will oblige us with more frequent posting...

The first 20 pages of this thread were a happening.

JPH, keep posting. Your contributions have been excellent. Here is today's fit, with the dreaded white PS that I keep waffling on...

I don't post anymore because my taste level has gone down the toilet with the new season - my wardrobe isn't still quite ready for S/S. Not that you guys are missing much anyways tounge.gif

RD, sorry to cloud this up with a off topic question.

Will the stores be open in Madrid next Wednesday, Labor Day?
