Beautiful.

Wow, British society is a tangled web to navigate through. I never knew.

That tie is awesome, UBR. The sort of tie that I absolutely love. It isn't available at the web catalog, is it?

I'm inclined to think neats look acceptable with more "country" outfits if the silk is matte, and the figures are of a med to large size, resembling vintage prints. But not sure I'm right. Your example works IMO.

I'd be inclined to wear a larger neat pattern like that with an odd jacket as well, though I would admittedly rather wear it with something like a blazer than a fuzzy tweed.

Here's an example of a Hober madder I wear with odd jackets.  Bad taste?

Sorry to generalize, but that tie and it's colour, is classic, and something an Englishman would wear. Well, you're one. I like that tie, -- but bear in mind, it will always be the centerpiece of your outfit. Always.

Is it still available from Hober?

Personally, I love madders like that with an odd jacket. Is it red, or burgundy? Would prefer the latter.

Thanks.  Darker red than appears in the pic, but would prefer darker still.

It's in my basket now.

Yeah, I would definitely want this to be as dark red/burgundy as possible. But broadly, I like that tie.

Not a huge fan of the green borders there--seem kinda fluorescent. Could just be the photo though.

But yeah, like that smile.gif

Thanks - dunno if it's on the web catalog. Email Patrizio and send him the pic and he'll recognize it I'm sure. PM me if you run into difficulties.

Although I will say - while I really love that tie - I'm not sure I'd want it as one of my only 10 ties. And given that you have said elsewhere that you're just starting to build your collection, you might want to look for something more versatile. Just my opinion though.
