Thanks guys. On the knot, I agree. I tied it a few times, couldn't get it quite right, and finally just kind of gave up. Just got the tie, may have to try a cpl more times before I get this one right.

 

Maybe a double FIH would look better.

That is a dFIH :-/...blade is just passed between the two loops as opposed to behind both.

No kidding? I never would have guessed. Then again, I rarely go in between on my double FIHs.

Yea it's just kind of long and skinny-at-the-knot relative to other 9 cm ties I have. Tying it FIH, long and short ends were about equal at my belt line, and I'm 6'2". I may think about having it shortened if I can't get better at knotting it as is.

If I may hazard an attempt at photoshop like some other members have done, perhaps a windsor would have looked better...

To me the knot itself looks fine, just I'd prefer a nicer dimple coming out of th knot.

May I ask where did you get it? That PS is awesome and it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. BTW, your DFIH looks just fine IMO; I like when a knot is not so perfect. I usually tie mine all neat and centered but that's because my imperfect knots look like crap

I had the same issue with the PS - looked for it online, didn't see it, so waited to buy from the Naples store last week. Look back through the pocket squares thread a few pages, I asked and there was somebody willing to proxy from the London store if they didn't have it in naples. Or maybe just call the London store, they might sell and ship it to you.
