I believe Stitchy has found the resolution to this tawdry business. Let us never speak of it again.

i love my socks.
links to navy ribbed socks? i have not seen any i like, in person in my sock shopping.

I have seen some nice socks here:

http://grunwald-true-style.com/Over-the-Calf-Socks.html

I have not tried them myself though. I mostly use pantherella now, and I have also just bought some very warm OTC socks with alpaca here:

http://www.ahume.co.uk/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=0&P_ID=923&strPageHistory=search&numSearchStartRecord=1

There are other colours and shorter lengths as well. I hope they are durable, and I will use them as boot socks when it's freezing.

thanks for all the links to ribbed navy socks, guys. lots of great stuff. all things considered i think some of the the ones from STP will work the best for my getting a few pair of ribbed navy socks.

NOBD - dont get too excited buddy, i liek exciting socks, this will not be a navy takeover, just an addition. sorry broseph.

Just ask yourself each time you pull out a pair of funny socks "do these look better than navy ribbed socks?". Or even better: ask me... smile.gif
