I think it would work better if the stripes on the shirt were less bold, i.e. a lighter blue. They're in conflict with the tie right now IMO.

I don't. The dotted pattern of the tie would normally risk being seen as lines of dots. With the stripes in the shirt, it's instant. I suspect that once you see it like that, you can't shake it.

I wouldn't restrict possible ties to solids only (although that would be safe for many), but not those dots. I think I've seen o/o do this with solids, or with knitted ties, or paisley ties, and I've liked it.

I think this may be the same tie as GDL was wearing last week, from Drakes.

nice combo. tho i recall gdls check was from panta, and was only 2 colors. white and brown, unless you mean another one.
