Pliny, I like the brown/white/green combination and the texture the grenadine tie adds to the outfit the most.
The other tie is too close in colour to the jacket for my liking.
I think you could improve your fits the most by changing the PS, which I dislike in all of the fits, the pale blue being the worst.

Thanks! Half-windsor. Both of these ties are a bit long on me. I finally got frustrated this week and tried a different knot which worked out pretty well IMO.

I like the second one, though I think pocket handkerchief should not be green if you are wearing that tie.

cheers - I have some wool challis squares in blue and green coming that'll lift my game-  I hope.  single color squares, no  matter the texture, are not so good for bridging  shirt-tie n jacket

Half windsor with a knit tie? Somebody kill this man!

Now seriously, I think it works well. I know that feeling, most RTW ties are made for giants, at least if you're going to tie a four-in-hand.

I've avoided x-poasting in this thread but figured I'd try with perhaps my moast soporific fit ever.

+1

Given the side seam and curved barchetta, I'm guessing Italian?

Guilty as charged! Enjoy the Fresco and have fun playing around with variations with it in the meantime.

Really all of the things that bother me about earlier commissions are things that I got wrong during the fittings rather than things that Mina got wrong. It takes a little bit to learn how to envision something as a final product that you're wearing every day when you're looking at it in a mirror in the fitting stage for a few minutes. Sometimes it takes wearing something a few times before you realize you wish you had done something slightly differently. But even from the first commissions, particularly in the chest and shoulders, the fit is far superior to anything RTW I have.

do you mean like stylistic decisions?
