And yes, it's a Vanda tie and PS (just realised it actually).

The jacket is an old Herringbone Sydney. Great for RTW, but... too long. And if I go a size down... too tight. C'est La Vie.

What shade of pants would you have gone for. This one's is a rougher, more textured navy worsted. Would a dark (almost charcoal) gray be more suitable?

Well that's kind of the problem with gray odd jackets. No obvious trouser choice. What about an olive-ish color?

You know, Khaki just might do the trick.

What kind of fabric? Fine cord? Wool twill?

Gray odd jackets can a real pain.

As you know I've got this same jacket too. I wear Charcoal trousers with it a lot. With what you have on I reckon charcoal or darker grey trousers and a darker brown shoe would have been win.

My favourite OTR odd jacket also.

Wondering if this is "good taste" business casual. I am becoming increasingly intrigued by pocket squares that share a lot of the colors of odd jackets.
