Mike, not really digging these. The first is great, except the pocket square appears totally random. The second is okay, but you know how I feel about triple solids--particularly solid squares paired with solid shirts.
Really? Surprised you don't dig the classic look of that.
This look has been with us since the early 90's and is part of the ongoing trend of casualization. I don't like it, but I don't think it's going away any time soon.
It is just a new incarnation of the liesure suit. It kind of works for Europeans (kind of) but it really doesn't work here. We tend to break down into "suit" cultures and "casual" cultures and we don't really blend those well. Don't confuse the longevity of a trend with its actual importance. Dockers took about 10 years to take off (sometimes things take a while to percolate) but were snuffed out rather quickly.
