Is brick red being better than primary red a new rule? I think there is already a categorical ban on primary red in place.

Cross post from The Challenge. I do not enter these hallowed halls without a little trepidation.

Ok. Another one.

Patterned Black tie. Acceptable?

Shirt is a check and suit also has subtle patterns. Holding camera awkwardly so don't judge the fit with this pic

Looks fine to me, though I feel it would look even sharper with a plain white shirt and/or a plain black tie.

Good feedback. I have a plain black tie in raw silk that will play the part but I am trying to introduce the more questionable items in my wardrobe (in this case the patterned black tie) for feedback on acceptable ways of using them.
