Navy suit, white shirt, glen plaid tie. Classic and one of my favorite formal looks. Well done, Stitchy.

Heh I could tell from the unique texture/color of that glenplaid. Almost bought that conrad for myself!

Haven't we recently spoken about the skinny blue stripe?
I wouldn't call that skinny. The ratio in the first pic looks 1:1 to me, even though it actually seems to be 1:2 or 1:3.

Regardless of the width, the shirt stripe is a pattern too many. A solid would soothe the eye and ground all the business elsewhere.

Thanks for the input Doc.  I think it's not optimal  because the shirt stripe is too close to the verticals in the SC.  Looking thru Flusser there's a pic of the DOW in the same configuration, but his POW is darker, providing more contrast, and he's wearing a bold stripe tie which dominates the lines of his shirt and SC.

What can I say, I guess I'm a farmer!

You say you are a farmer, but that suit looks grey to me. Is it brown in reality?

Yup, dark brown flannel with camel pinstripe.

Ah. Sounds lovely. If only I could see it's true brilliance.

I tend to agree.

Is that a suit or a sportcoat?
