Thanks. Maybe I'll stop in the Manhattan shop and poke around then as I like their materials and pricing for trousers an awful lot.

We are veering way off topic here but none of the Epaulet fits work for me - I have big thighs from weightlifting. Bespoke is pretty much the only option.

Agree with Axelman that this is a shame - there are several pants on offer from Epaulet that I want...

Yes, they were MTO. Had I not had the chance to try on a similar pair in person I dont think i would have done it.

Me gusta.

I find myself wearing brown ties more and more frequently in the colder weather. I like nothing in this fit is completely solid - there's just a little bit of interest to everything.

Because I can't help myself...

Since all the colors are so subdued, I think a pocket square would work especially well there.

P.S. Photoshop's got nothin' on Paint.

I was hoping you'd post that in here. I think the tie is perfect for the suit (I'm sure I've let you know how much I like the suit before) in terms of sheen, and the pencil stripe is a great choice -- neither too edgy nor too safe.

The shoes are a little more heavily antiqued than I normally like, but I think the brown tie makes it work.

Classy Mr S. Particularly liken the tie.

I too now have, from nowhere, brown ties. I get it.

Thanks, gents!

I love brown ties, on the whole they are probably my favorites.

Big C, I actually had wanted to wear a PS with that, but since I am not generally in the habit of doing so I forgot and I didn't realize it until I had already left for work. frown.gif

Also, Paint rules.

Agree. For the past year ive gotten 4 brown ties (hober bitter choc fina, marinella dark brown cashmere, kiton 7 fold print and cappelli print) and i really like them with most thnngs! I think dark greens are going to be my next addiction

Mr. Stitches
Try the brown tie from the dark grey nailhead suit with the blue suit and the solid brown tie from the blue suit with the grey nailhead suit and report back. Leave all other elements as is. Please.

Thank you, is this your New Years Resolution?

If you visit Chicago, Dallas or New York, it's easier than you might think.
