Love me some gingham style but not so much with a mid grey three-piece

I don't think it's CBD. Too prominent of a pattern / too much white in the tie. Otherwise, you can't really argue with a well-fitting navy suit + white shirt + white square.

I renew my suggestion about a higher collar band. I believe you've gotten down with Luxire - try having them make you a higher collar with either an unlined collar band or a lightly lined one with a slightly circumference. I don't think it would be uncomfortable and would make that outfit look even a little sharper.

No comment from big C on my combo makes me sad.

Maybe he hates me after my all PoW fit.

Canta, on my next shirt order, I intend to add a bit to the collar height. If it works, I'll incorporate the change to my permanent measurements. Not sure I'm going back to Luxire, though.

Off topic but with some relation to the thread title....
Last night I was zapping on the TV when suddenly the outfit of a gentleman that was beeing interviewed caught my attention, a nice looking sports coat. The show happend to be a documentary about a luxury hotell in London and this gentlemen was one of the guests celebrating his marriage. After watching a little more I noticed the face looked familiar, then it struck me that it was styleforum member WHNAY (I'm almost 100% certain).
Quite unlikely event if I may say so. biggrin.gif

You're correct -- we had some discussion of it at the time.

I watched the same show. It had a pretty long segment featuring his marriage preparations and ceremony. Mafoofan also flashed by. Whnay and his wife looked great but the price for best dressed goes to Mr (Pepe?) Fanjul who appeared in the first segment of the show.
