A better way is to say, "I have two tie makers: one in Asia and one in Europe." That way you up the smug-quotient whilst never giving peons the satisfaction of thinking they can afford what you wear.

(that was a tactical "whilst")

Looks like someone envies Foo... Dispite of his predictable behavior, those threads still goes on for many pages. So it can't be all bad.
Those "looking for your opinion" threads are one of the most fun ones around, in my opinion. Everyone who has bespeak something and enjoys the process will understands how much you're going to obsess about the possibilities, putting them to the test will reveal how certain you're about them, but, the bespeaker should have an open mind so that everyone benefits from the discussion.

Brilliant. That is the unfunded liabilities thread in a nutshell.

I can understand why it felt different. I bespoke a few things before I first approached Chris about making a suit and have bespoken a few since. While none of them have been as big or involved, there is still something different about that purchase regardless. I don't imagine it will go away with the next one either. Some things are just special.

Suddenly, like a bolt of lightning, foo.gif has been thrust back into the thread!

Now the Ghost reference is appropriate. I'm just going to chalk that one up to precognition.

I like it, though I would not wear the OCBD.
