Thanks! I rarely wear a tie with my sportcoats. Sometimes if I'm feeling frisky, but it's often unnecessary.

Summer evening cocktails.

This particular brand of pocket square has a tendency to 'escape' during the first few wears, as evidenced in this photograph.

I was looking at plainer options this morning, but it was so beautiful out that I felt compelled to bring a bit of the sunshine into my outfit. Plus, you can't tell from the picture, but my outsized personality means no one notices that upper-chest focal point.

Just kidding...

^ Looks good! New Rubinacci suit? Is that tie Marinella? I think I almost bought that same one a while back.

Did what I was told (Google, by way of Wiki):
szHNe.png

And here are my wholecuts:
zOgZK.jpg

You're absolutely right. They both look delicious. Sweet dreams.

More this:

http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=co...161&start=0&ndsp=19&ved=1t:429,r:13,s:0,i:154

An expanse of plainness, with a funny line of (shoe) lacing (pasty) decoration on top.

Whereas a pork pie has the elegant solidity and harmony of form of a pair of punchcaps:

But I'll give it to you that yours are by a long way the least offensive wholecuts I have seen in a while. The suede helps. Details?

Thank you. The suit is a sharkskin from a few years ago, my second Rubinacci commission. The tie is Panta.

whnay asked for pics. All of these are old, but of combos I like:

I love this fit. Very different to a lot of what you see on SF.
This has inspired me to go for some more rusty orange colours.
I've always like that orangey shade of suede with mid grey trousers but never thought of trying it for a SC.

What are the details of the SC and tie?

Stitch you don't use suits often, right?

not generally. they make me highly overdressed for work, though i try to indulge myself at least once a week.

I figured that, since I most see pictures with sport coats. What do you work with?
