MrChris exemplifies the wisdom of purchasing classics as the basis of a wardrobe. All five looks would be among the 1% on any given day in WAYWRN.

I cannot get past the yellowness of Butler's tie. I'm sure there's a lovely ensemble beyond that. (Seriously, though, is that the new NSM you posted in the folded shirt Appreciation thread?)

nore, that tie is an abomination

I think I have said this multiple times here but I will again. The thing I like about this tie is that with the nekkid eye you only see a brown pindot with blue dots. On film (and under certain lighting conditions), however, the crop circles show up. I didn't even realize this tie had crop circles until I photographed it which is a shame because it is really a nice tie.

Steven Hitchcock Blue SB Blazer
NSM striped shirt
Hermes tie
Rubinacci PS

Suit and shirt are excellent, while the tie and square are not to my taste. All the different elements together are a bit much.

Don't think of them as crop circles; think of them as my initials:

Manton, do you take your jackets off when you're driving? Legit question.

Not even when you're on the West Coast?

I used to love this shirt, but now I'm afraid it needs to be culled. Interested in opinions on its place on the good taste spectrum.
