We make them on order in sterling silver and 18/22 ct gold. Not done platinum yet, but can.

Don't think anyone's mentioned carbon fibre. Mine are thin, flexible carbon fibre. I've been using the same $5 pair for a year and a half now, and they're still going good. Never a stay pocket sliced at the edge.

I'm a jeweller and I have sold a few in gold and white gold the past months.
Only to people who want to have a lot of hidden valuables on them if ever they would need money.

But this kind of jewelry is really not cost effective for consumers to buy. It costs me about 400€ in gold to make 1 stay, and I sell 2 for 2000€.
The work is ridiculous, you can buy gold sheet yourself. Sawing them and buffing them will take 15 minutes.
