Interesting. These are heavily marked up at the stores I frequent.

Well some stores mark them up obviously, then again they mark up Stafford for $30, but when I see them under $10 now I need to remember to pick them up as I usually skip over any HSM unless it is the most recent Gold label which has done well for me recently.

Also shocked at that other HSM! I pass over all of those. Is that a recent label? It's not one I'm familiar with.

I just switched to photobucket per your advice earlier in the thread. Imgur finally sent me over the edge.

Pattern is mock skeet blanket.

I have the new label gold listed for $195 BIN OBO and will let it sit for a while before reducing the price. I think easy $100+ no problem at all. The other label (the one that sold) it the slightly older HSM label I THINK. Not 100% positive, but I only see it maybe once a week. The pattern of the jacket that sold has something to do with the higher price along with it being a pretty good size in 42L.

 

Photobucket does make life easy once you get the hang of it.

How long would you characterize as "for a while?" 2 10-day listings? 3? 4? What kind of turnover do you guys look to get?

Everyone has a differnt idea, but I use 30 day BIN OBO (if you look at my ebay store http://stores.ebay.com/gooseguy84store). Some people do live auctions and can give better advice, but there is no set standard, lots of variables and you have to have a feel for the market. How many views, watchers, questions, other similar items for sale that size, other items that sold, prices they sold and didnt sell for. It takes work, it's not just 2+2 math hence why I find it funny in the thrift thread when people go "omg a new article about thrifting, we are all doomed" most people don't put in the effort.
