Probably color space. Check the output setting in Lightroom.

I did a 'save as' through photoshop and made sure sRGB was checked and now they work fine. I need to dig through my Lightroom settings as it looks like I have sRGB on there as well.... but something is going awry. Thanks for the colorspace tip. I'm glad I got that resolved. Now to fix my workflow.

Can someone please tell me the best way to ship a suit to Japan. Besides for the box. I know that part. USPS doesn't seem to have a standard shipping option, is this actually the case because the only option I'm getting for a large package is priority express at 65.00. What are my options? I have someone interested. Oh, please enlighten me kashikoi hito.

I second using 6500k.  5000k was too yellow for my liking, and 6500k has a hint of blue but I prefer the cooler white it puts out.

Just about any photo editor will do. All I do on my photos is a quick level adjustment and color correction if necessary. There is a free alternative to photoshop called gimp that does all of that and way more.

So the other day I was taking pics of a Barbour jacket I found a while back. How strong is the smell on these usually? I didn't really notice it when I got it and it was in a closet with the door closed until I took it out for photos. The smell is strooong. I had never handled a Barbour jacket in the past and didn't know their scent was a thing. Is that something I should mention in the listing or are most people that search for Barbour aware of this?

I searched on the adv function but can anyone advise me on how to get rid of the smoke? Dry clean? I put the jacket in my shower to steam it out and nothing

Wrap in plastic garment bag or trash bag and put coffee beans at bottom and tape it sealed. Smell should be gone after a day or two when you air it out

This has been most effective for me in removing odors

I'd mention it. They certainly don't start off smelling that way and the "stank" can be pretty overwhelming if not expected.

Ok, so I sold a jersey to a guy in Canada, cliffnotes:

- After sale buyer requested a change in shipping. He did not want to pay the additional charges via Global Shipping.

- I cancelled the sale and relisted the item at our agreed price and sent via First Class to Canada.

- After he recieved the item, he complained about shipping. And then after I showed him the shipping cost he then stated the jersey was too short.

- I asked him to return and he did not want to pay the return shipping. So we agreed to discount the item by $10 and let him keep the jersey.

- He then left negative feedback on the original listing and positive feedback on the listing that we completed the transaction.

Question is: Can I have ebay remove the feedback on the original listing since we did not complete a transaction there?

I think picasa is pretty good as well.

I think photography forums are more up on this though, so if you google free photo editing software etc, you should get hits with reviews there. A lot of them have been pretty extensively tested on those forums/blogs as well.

Cap - what's a good number to get ebay CS? I have a feedback issue that they won't acknowledge via messages.
