Jeez.  I've been creating a text file, pasting into SF then individually adding photos and links.  Let's see how this looks - would save me a ton of time vs. what I have been doing all this time.

Well lookit that!  Looks pretty good to me - I think it depends on how you view your own listings when you copy & paste - i.e.: on your "my selling" page vs. your store page (if you have one) vs. looking at your listings as if you were someone else browsing them...and then how they are sorted - i.e.: if you sort by "ending soonest" you'll see the time left and so on.

Thanks for the tip guys!

EDIT: it appears that the price etc gets cut off, but when I do the same & preview on the "what I'm selling page" it looks fine.  Odd.  Oh well - if it works where it counts, it works.

Looks like I'm getting one of those Paypal 1099 forms this year.

Oooooohhhhhh! Aint that some ship! (Click to show)

Oh, that was my shipping expense for the year. Hate to see Spoo's bill

I've only shipped $8,800 this year :hide:

Good record keeping.

Helps if you use the outright/go daddy bookkeeping ebay application.

Nice Wes, I know I'm nowhere near a 20k mark...but that is certainly a good goal for 2014. 20k in shipping expense goal, and the rest will all fall into place.

You really need to keep a list (if not using bookkeeping software) of all items sold and costs assocaited with them for taxes.

I should've clarified

How do I see the # that Wes is showing?

Also, many of my costs were from last year as well. I believe I also threw away some receipts =X FML

Lastly, I will look at that godaddy application now.

You almost got me with that one... I've done $22k in the past three months. My goal for next year is $200k. wink.gif

Yeah, that's an expense report number right from the Outright/Go Daddy App.

Get the application now for next year. You will love it. Works seamlessly with the Paypal debit card.

I downloaded the outright app a couple months ago, and from what I can tell, it goes and grabs all your transactions for the year so it still might work for 2013 even if you download now.

I downloaded it to try but found it frustrating. Maybe I'm missing something. I couldnt even figure out how to set my cost basis for the items I buy and sell.

You mean the cost of goods sold?

It's calling some of the credit extended to me by Bill me Later as income...

Brian, I think you would need to do add cost basis manually, along with mileage and any expenses outside of the ebay framework as the app would only know items bought on your ebay account or with your paypal debit card as "cost of goods sold."

Yea, I assumed I would have to add it manually but could not figure out how.
