Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but HE has to prove delivery back to you to be refunded. They might put the funds on hold until the item is delivered back and if delivered you have to pay the cost + initial shipping, but never have to pay the customs charges OR the return shipping.

Never dealt with the paypal dispute people but ebay people have gotten a lot better in the last 2-3 months when I needed to call and speak with people about this same type of situation.

Of course not..lol. But that's what I meant to say.

I did, however, politely informed him of how the system works. He threatened again and I told him paypal and ebay would tell him the same thing, and that he would be out the customs charges.

The whole paypal dispute is frustrating. Paypal does not honor the 10% restocking fee in the event of a return. I have provided 2 forms of evidence of the fee in my listing this time. we''ll see if that works.

I'm hoping the evidence I provided of him demanding that I falsify the customs documents will just get him kicked off paypal. That would be the goal. I already accept returns, he is just fighting it because he wants the customs fees back, since I wouldn't comply with his demands. Thinking about just cancelling any order where the customer asks me to do that. I saw this coming a mile away.....well rather 6,718 miles away (Japan)

FYI - JUST WAS TOLD BY EBAY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP - If  buyer demands an illegal change to the shipping (international sales to avoid tax) in an ebay message or sale details after he buys the item - BUYER PROTECTION IS VOID

I have not gotten to this point where I had to actually test if the ebay rep statment would hold up in a case thankfully, but I almost did. Shipping a NWT pair of RLPL pants to France (e-delcon tracking) and shipped them Priority. Showed in tracking a notice was left on the 5th, get a message on the 9th that he has not gotten the item, go back and check the details/shipping and see he requested it be marked $0 and sent as a gift (which I didnt see or would have just voided the transcation as I dont need to deal with that crap). It was finally picked up today, but the ebay rep said if he opened a case he would lose no questions asked due to the ebay TOS.

Why did you not add him to your blocked list after the first item was not paid for??

99% sure you dont have to take it back for all the reasons listed above, BUT if/when a case it open. CALL EBAY. Talk to someone, have them put notes on the case. IF you lose, call back, speak with an appeals person asap and have them reference the notes from the first call. The people you speak with are in America, the people making the case decision are not but the appeals people are back in America. A lot sometimes gets lost in translation and policy when the case gets decided..

IMO I would 100% NOT take the item back.

I consigned a Tie with Brian that he sold 2 weeks ago to a guy who lives 2 miles from my house.......

  - Best one was I just had an item consigned from Canada ..... and then it sold to a buyer in Canada.

One time (in band camp) I sold a jacket to buyer A. Everything was wonderful. Turns out buyer A sells things to one of my consignors. A few weeks later, I get a package from my consignor, and inside is this same jacket! I ask him "did you get this from buyer A"? He confirms yes. I lolsmileyface and move on and re sell. I assume it just didnt fit him or he didnt like it or whatever. The jacket sells the second time round... yup. To buyer A. Again. I say...umm.... he's getting the same jacket again. A few weeks later, I get another box from my consignor. You guessed it. Jacket is inside (round 3). Thankfully buyer A didnt win it again, but thats 3 for the price of one lol8[1].gif

Only Spoo...

I'm not even going to rattle my brain as to why that happened 3 times including the same buyers.

Buyer opened case this morning. I called EBay, rep read the messages, said it would be closed in my favor when it gets escalated, and I had him make notes in the case file.

Has anyone shipped USPS Priority Mail International (with e-delcon) had the package arrive and still get a case open in PAYPAL (not ebay)? Send me a PM. Thanks

The chest seems to be the only unambiguous measurement for me.

I agree with Orgetorix but in my listings I add words to the effect that due to variations in construction, shoulder measurements are not meaningful with sweaters and will not be provided.

As to the returns thing:

I say he's in the wrong. However, I would also weigh what a polite customer like that is worth to you. What's the relisting process going to cost you vs what could you potentially gain in a repeat buyer? Both of those are dependent on you, but still.

So I've been eying this on ebay:

Horizontal Bar that attaches to a tripod.

However, it doesn't have great reviews on Amazon (unsteady, not strong enough to hold up a DSLR).

Then I found this, figure I can make it as sturdy as I like.

But I to be able to attatch and detatch the slide on the right to my tripod extension, like so:

Any ideas?

Fiberglass pull rod with small metal tube around it for rigidity?

Sure, I was thinking a thicker wooden dowel rod. The problem is how do I attach it to my tripod vert extension without taking the tripod head off (which would let me simply slide the pvc down on top of it).

Quick question

I think I know the answer but hoping to be wrong.

As you know, we are allowed to add 12 pictures. Is there a way I can add another picture somewhere so my buyers can see ALL 13 or more?

FYI, I do NOT have a template or software program. I simply use the advanced tools b/c I'm a cpu illiterate

You can put as many pictures as you'd like in the body of the description.

So i just thrifted a mannequin, but i find the bare legs look awkward.
Should i throw some random pants on there? I don't really fancy cutting them off, as the stand comes out of one of the legs.
The other option is cloning them out in Photoshop, which is something i'd rather avoid.
