I have not sold any H&S and don't know the going rate for more average sizes, but, I will relate my own experience in a similar vein: about a year ago I picked up something like 15 Zegna shirts in a very large size - I think they were 4XB or 5XB.  After I had already bought them I posted them on the brag thread (before this thread existed) and the consensus was I would be holding onto them for a while.  Which I did...and then a guy came along and bought all the ones I had listed and asked if I had any more, which I did but had not listed yet - he bought those as well sight-unseen.  eBay really is a patience game, and if you have a nice item in great condition for a good price, a buyer will come along eventually.  That said, in the future I probably would not buy up the entire stock of something I was unsure of, and it worked out for me in the end but it did take relisting a few times until the buyer happened to find me.

My tuppence...

Yeah, my feeling would be that you will sit on them for a while, but you will likely get a good price eventually, maybe even better than you would for something in the sweet spot.

Great job. Great pics. Great price. I think any of us would be thrilled with this result. I have a brioni sc with polo buttons that I'd be happy to sell for that.

Hey thanks for the tips everyone!

Hmm, so I picked this up on a bit of a vintage kick and thought it looked cool - what do you guys think? My problem is I can't figure out how the heck to list it - I don't even know what keywords at all to use except I guess trad hipster euc? It's got bellows pockets, action back, faux belted back... I was halfway looking for a hidden game pocket lol8[1].gif As best as I can tell from the union tag I think it dates from the late 1960's?

Thanks for any ideas / keywords / thoughts on this!

Well, yeah, but I keep thinking there's a name for this kind of thing... but maybe I can't see the forest for the trees, huh?

I usually call them a half norfolk jacket

Ooooh, that's perfect. I knew there was something tickling the back of my mind somewhere. Thanks!

NBD, but while that's accurate, probably most people are going to be searching for "action back" or "belted back" over "half norfolk" for this kind of thing. You'll catch folks looking for full norfolks, but that's different.

I recall someone discussing in this thread the whole "While you establish a successful eBay sales history, you may not have access to your money for up to 21 days You may get it sooner , but it may take longer if your buyer reports a problem with the sale" thing. This just popped up on my latest paypal/ebay transaction, and I've been selling there for a long time, not to mention more of my sales have been in the last 6 months than any other time. Also have 100% feedback.

Is this some sort of screw up on their behalf, or something everyone has to deal with at one point? Seems pretty randomly triggered, hoping that a call to them might straighten things up?

You can use those things that have been mentioned, but also use Sport Coat, and put a shirt on your bust mannequin. :)
