Think I might list list a certain number at a time if I listed 70 ties straight off It might mean some going unsold.

This. I've started doing more auctions simply because I need to move stuff. You'll get the occasional "WTF! How did that get bid up so high?" but I see more disappointments than surprises. Set the start at something you'd be satisfied with and hope it goes higher.
You do get some disappointments, but I think it's worth it for moving products. I rarely do .99, but 9.99 for most everything and 19.99 for others. I agree it gets more eyeballs on all your other auctions too.
I get fewer and fewer disappointments and more holy ****! every week. Case in point: BRIONI

Think I might list list a certain number at a time if I listed 70 ties straight off It might mean some going unsold.
Unless you started too high, no decent Hermes tie will go unsold. Safe bet would be listing a few at a time each week for 10 days starting at the least you would be happy with making off each item, you would start to gain a following and your bid prices should go up each week. Also if you know that you have any special ones in there, dole those out slowly too (scarf ties is all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there are others). Promote yourself as much as possible (here, AAAC, whatever else is out there) it will pay off.

Awesome thanks @txwoodworker I'm excited to see how it turns out. Think I'll maybe start few at 9.99 and see how it goes from there!

lol I put a stained tie up last week. Apparently it was rare enough to end up on PTO. Sold for over $30 with a good number of bids. I guess people REALLY wanted it. I was expecting like $10. Just wanted it out of my closet. Anyone else see something like that happen?

Question 1. I have a number of Canali sport coats all from same donor, so same exact size. Someone cut off the size tags on one of them. Do any of you mention something to the effect of "came from same donor" or "same size as other jackets I have for sale?"

Question 2/ Any tips for a non-business seller to improve receiving feedback? I'm batting like .300 with feedback per sale. It seems I hardly receive it back. I make sure to give positive feedback to all my buyers. I've been trying build up my number and would have thought it would be much higher by now. Maybe I'm just too hopeful.

1. Is your paypal balance where it should be or is the money just missing?
2. Can you print from eBay?

Took longer than I thought, but I've got a test version of a new feature you guys might be interested in.

I know some of you, like Spoo, run websites that have your listings on them, but for those that don't I thought you might be interested in a seller homepage that's less ugly and clunky than the standard ebay one, and that you have a little more control over. So I threw one together with Haberdashboard.

I went ahead and made one for everyone here (if I missed you, lemme know and I'll add you, only takes about ~5 min):

I plan on eventually adding some sort of customization dashboard, but for now if there's anything you wanna change about your store, shoot me a message or an email ([email protected]) and I'll do my best to add it.

Still in beta right now, but once I get the bugs worked out and have gotten some feedback from the people here, I'll add a "stores" link to the front page of haberdashboard.com, fwiw.

Lemme know what you think.

I had to print through ebay. All the money is where its suppose to be, but only one of the transactions allowed me to print. I think it may have fixed itself for now.
