Here are the positives:
- Setup was a breeze. I plugged it in and typed in my password. Unpacking to printing (from the next room) was around 5 minutes.
- Nice touchscreen.
- Prints/copies are fast, at least fast enough for me. I click print and it's ready for me by the time I walk over to the printer.
- You can scan into Google Drive, Evernote, Drop Box, One Note, Facebook, and Flickr. I've currently only used Google Drive. It works well once it's set up.
- You can scan as an editable text document, though I haven't tried. You can also scan and email a PDF. I just pushed the button, but it's not setup yet.
Touchscreen is a bit small. I hate when the full keyboard is up, I always hit the wrong buttons, I'm sure it's even more difficult for someone with fatter fingers.
In short, it is one of those things that can make your life easier. It's relatively uncomplicated and not hard on the wallet. The actual prints are perfectly fine. I don't expect a whole lot out of a printer, but text is crisp. I'm the only one that uses mine, so it doesn't have a hard life, but I'm sure it would be up to the challenge of multiple users in a small office setting. I just took a look at Amazon.com and it's pretty cheap. I was happy to pay €225 with shipping.
