@Jompso

Fine... I am interested in some suits on your website. Please send me a reply.

Got a return request for a tie, buyer saying it has a stain. I didn't notice any, when I was listing it (high value Brioni tie so was extra careful) but to avoid any aggravation, I offered him $ for dry cleaning or a full refund with return. If I get the tie back and it doesn't show any stains like he claimed, do I have any recourse for at least getting the ebay fees + shipping back?

Anyone know why Jompso ignore my messages and offers? I want to purchase a suit from him and interested in buying more in the same size. But no reply, no counter offer from him. It is kinda rude to ignore a buyer like this as a ebay seller.

What size are you? Im sure I have something and I reply immediately biggrin.gif

Sadly, no.

Thanks, Spoo. Hey, by the way, I've always been curious about this. When was the last time you took a return on ebay? With this volume, having a spotless track record is insane!

About once a week or so. I do make mistakes and totally own up to them when they happen.

I was going to write a snarky response because I'm not really a fan... But have you tried clicking buy it now instead of lowball offers?

If I wasn't going to entertain offers on something, I wouldn't reply, or might just respond that the price was not negotiable.

Would you walk into a brick and mortar and start making offers on stuff with set prices? If not, why is doing so on EBay acceptable?

Can I get some help with picture identification to see if this pair of Ferragamo is men's or women's? The heel is kind of tall, but I am not sure if it's due to it being Italian style or whatnot . The length measures 11.3" for size 8.5.

New to eBay, just wonder if eBay sellers got their stuff when local outlets have sales and want to make a profit base on that. I saw lots of Canali are priced at 800, while I know local place can get main line Canali under $600 3 or 4 times a year. If I need something in a hurry, why would I buy from eBay? If I can wait, why would I give up trying the suit for the same/higher price? IMO, any Canali, Samuelsohn priced over 400 is ridiculous

What's your Ebay username?

But to answer your question, it's frankly not your concern where items sold on EBay come from, as long as they are not stolen and are accurately described. Without people trying to make money on Ebay, you wouldn't be able to find deals there. Deal with it.

does eBay have a shipping option to ship a tie internationally for $10?
