PS - going back to the org point, Lirum, why does it matter? I would list it as a "Sport Coat Blazer Jacket". Unless it is a stripe jacket most solids and checks can get listed like any other jacket

ya I think this is where it gets confusing. Zegna isn't the only one. Isaia, kiton and others use it in there coats. I'm not sure if it's to help the retailer on fitment of customers or what. I do own one isaia piece that was from 2015. It doesn't have a drop or model name on tag as it was one of there winter sportcoats that you could also buy the pants separate if you wanted. It looked to etro so I settled on the jacket only. Some believe it to be the measurement without the pants fwiw. I think it has a lot to do with the factories and there stencils

Word of advice: if you use any kind of listing template, check the mobile site to be sure your listings look the way you want.

I'm having a nightmare problem, for which there's not a good fix.
I thought it would be a good idea to have a rating system for each of my listings, so that I can streamline the process of describing the condition. So I researched what other people are using, and came up with a table that looks like this on garagesale:

Pretty straightforward and helpful, right?

The problem is, for some reason the mobile site pulls the text from the cell that says "Not wearable, has severe flaws/damage, but with desirable useable element(s)" and sticks it front and center on the listing. So someone looking at any listing that uses that table sees this:

I got an email from a potential buyer today, asking why the green Kiton tie I have listed is unwearable. baldy[1].gif
Since that listing (and about 20 others) have bids on them, I can't go in and change the description. I talked to 3 customer service reps, and even they can't change the description once it has bids. So I have no way of knowing how many people have checked these listings on the mobile site, and just skipped it when they saw the "not wearable" text, and I may end up selling some very good ties to the first guys who bid $15. censored.gif

For all listings without bids, I tried adding text to the cell in question. I tried adding a new cel, so the last one has a thank you message, as seen in the screencap above, but for some reason the eBay robots keep zeroing in on "Not wearable, has severe flaws" and putting that on the description summary. So I just deleted the table from all the other listings while I figure out another place to put the information.

I'm so fucking irritated.

Downloaded Garage Sale last night and am still playing around with it to try to learn the quirks.

One thing I haven't figured out...

I know to schedule multiple things in one event, I have to create a template for each, select all, then click "New Event". If I already have an event created, but I end up creating a couple more listings I want to include at that same time, is there anyway for me to add them to that event, or would I just need to create a seperate event near the same time?

Thanks!

Anyone have a name for these prints, or possibly listing title suggestions for these couple ties? No clue where to start with the Charvet/Ferragamo especially... Thanks in advance!

Global Shipping Program question. I've never used it before. A buyer from a country I don't ship to asked me if I can ship a few items there and combine shipping. The only way I'll do it if ebay takes care of all the international shipping.

Is it possible to create a listing with just the things he wants to buy, and have the GSP turned on for only that listing? I don't want my other listings to offer GSP, which I understand to be massively expensive and a deterrent to international buyers.

Yes, you can use/not use GSP per listing.  You just can't use GSP/regular international on the same listing (I think)

One more for the blocked list.  Looks like he took a departure from buying nutritional supplements to buy a tie.

supplements

Maybe not the worst offender ebay has to offer, but I don't like feedback extortion that's not overt.  Can't get feedback extortion to count as a reason for removal unless it's explicit, not implied.

Congrats! That's a little over $77 per auction. Very impressive.

PS - Does USPS deliver boxes by the pallet if you're using 1,500 a month? lol
