I should have elaborated, he purchased something on behalf of his father, and decided after the purchase the measurements would not work for him.  Being that he took the initiative to purchase it on behalf of someone else and not knowing their correct measurements ahead of time, does not warrant a return.  Either way it never got to the return area, because he refused to pay for it after he found out the suit would not work...

Just cancel the transaction and be done with it....add him to your personal block list and to the Ebay Black List here on the forum....not worth your time/effort.

OHNOYOUDIINT

PS - Something odd happened when I clicked on your auction - I got a partial screen cap of it, but it disappeared quickly. Have you seen this, and what is it?

Not 100% sure what it is. I've seen similar things and I know ebay is in the process of rolling out a few new things along with the seller updates over the month of April. It seems like that was more of something to inform the seller how many people are viewing the item....weird it would pop up for you on my item.

Universe, you have a lot of explaining to do!

I sold something similar for $66.20 not long ago. Granted, not a v-neck, but still a LP silk blend sweater.

lol8[1].gif Apparently not.

I figured the 100% cashmere alone would push me into the triple digits. Oh well.

Nicely done! But what is up with those patterns lately. Spoo sold that Duchamp for like $300+.

"Happy" Pride Convention?

So, I want to up my photography for my store... I know "how" to do studio photography (all those years of photo classes might actually pay off some day). What I need is advice on specific lighting systems that work well, and perhaps a mannequin or two (a male and female one? Half Forms? Any thoughts are appreciated).

I'd like to keep the budget small. I've found some options for $100-$150 that seem like they'll work. I have a place to hang a background, so just need to figure out which type of continuous lighting to use. And if you have any suggestions for background material and color, those are appreciated as well! Using fleece blankets isn't really cutting it any more.

IMPORTANT PSA

Looks like there is a phony email going around. This just popped up in my email box.

Notice the extra L in Paypal. Once inside the email there are links to click on to verify my information. What clued me in was, it said this was my second notice. I suppose this was an effort to make me act quickly without thinking. Fortunately I monitor my inbox often and knew there was not a previous email.

If you ever receive any emails, from eBay or Paypal, that you think are suspicious, forward them to spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com for verification.

Kind of a neat video with Patrick Grant from Norton & Sons, Savile Row, on how he uses ebay as inspiration. (Of course, sponsored by ebay). mwink[1].gif
But interesting nonetheless.

If you don't cooperate they may suspend your Paypall account.

I shipped my first package to Hong Kong (that recent Lanvin blazer). What a f'n hassle. Ended up costing me $60 via express with insurance and sig confirmation. I have a note in my auctions that says the buyer might be responsible for additional shipping costs blah blah, I originally charged him $35. Do you guys always ask for the additional? I just let it be this time (although I did let him know that I was essentially giving he a break on the shipping), but the true inconvenience is the time spent at the post office, thankfully my fiance did it on her day off biggrin.gif

I got errors on both websites, called USPS customer service and they said it had to be done in person because of the location...were they wrong?
